Noted for the intense passion he brings to such hits as "Your Love Amazes Me" and "Standing on the Edge of Goodbye," country music artist John Berry’s wide-ranging tenor voice remains an instrument of stupendous power. His stunning performance of "O Holy Night" has led to his most enduring legacy. Join Berry and his band mark his 12th consecutive holiday concert series.
"He is beloved," said Buncie Lanners, executive director of the Arts Association of Newton County. "We always sell out. He gives a wonderful Christmas performance."
Berry, one of two country music artists on the 2008-2009 arts season, will perform at Porter Auditorium, located at Newton High School, on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 8 pm. Tickets are $27 adults, $24 senior citizens, and $10 students. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Arts Association at (770) 786-8188 or by going to www.newtoncountyarts.org.
